The ‘Safeer’ story
Abdulaziz began his career as a clerk at the Commercial Bank, gradually rising through the ranks. He went on to serve as Assistant Manager at the Islamic Bank of Dubai and later as Branch Manager at Dubai Bank, gaining deep expertise in banking operations, compliance, and legal frameworks. In 2010, a business unit had a requirement of over 50 licenses, immigration visas, labour cards and the works. As a one-man army in charge, he saw a market gap in providing all these services under one roof. Thus, the idea – that of becoming a one-stop solution provider to companies and individuals looking to set up a business in the UAE took root. He hired an accountant to start Safeer Corporate Services. 200 companies later, Abdulaziz and his team are on the roster of big names and corporations doing business in the UAE.

Clocking the hours, keeping the records
Abdulaziz pulled all-nighters, and weekends became a blur as he worked to bring in clients, structure his services, and maintain meticulous financial records. In 2013, the launch of the Emirates ID led to an exponential increase in business. Safeer Corporate Services then introduced a two-year model to provide business owners, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and entrepreneurs a complete ecosystem for success with market feasibility reports, client profiling, and regulatory paperwork.
Drawing from his banking experience, Abdulaziz explains, “When someone opens an account, they receive full information of available services and a relationship manager to help navigate operational challenges. Likewise, at Safeer Corporate Services, we assess clients’ investments and business feasibility, offering advice and mentorship tailored to their needs. We serve as their go-to PRO for two solid years.”

‘Making things happen’ is a personal motto Aziz lives by. Today, his company has partnerships in 11 countries worldwide. Aziz explains, “The UAE is one of the best places to build a business due to its unmatched regulatory transparency. It is beautiful that in the UAE, everything is for everyone. It is a wonderful legal ecosystem that is trustworthy. The introduction of the Golden Visa and its subcategories has made the UAE dream a reality for many.”
He also adds a cautionary note though, that every entrepreneur should do a feasibility study to understand their business compatibility with the UAE’s lifestyle. “We ask our clients to invest a little to begin with and then build momentum, which can be $7,000 to $10,000 initially and then scaled to $50,000 or $100,000 depending on their market study. Client and country compatibility is crucial for success,” he asserts.
